About Me

Hello, I'm Victoria. From early on building meaningful relationships has been a focus within my work. This is when I feel most fulfilled, grateful and motivated, and have experienced an important factor for healing and growth. I have 13 year’s experience working with children and families, including seven years as a qualified Social Worker. I have worked within Family Support, Youth Offending and statutory teams. I have experience working in CAMHS, specialising in therapeutic assessment and intervention for Children in Care. This path lead me to experience the healing power of play.  Feeling strongly connected to the values and qualities of the role I decided to undertake Play Therapy training in 2015. I work as a trauma informed therapist, with knowledge of attachment theory, the nervous system, neurodiversity and sensory integration being integrated into my work. At the forefront of all my work is the belief in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and the attunement between child and therapist, which I believe so much of the healing is anchored from. My Play Therapy path has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and I feel so grateful and privileged to work alongside each child’s unique healing journey. ​​
